Data Deletion

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY IN REGARDS TO DELETING YOUR DATA
In accordance with our Privacy Policy , if you hold a Rendezvous account and wish to discontinue using the service and remove your data, you may do so by simply closing your Rendezvous account. For instructions on how to close you account, see below:
Closing your account on the Rendezvous website
- Ensure you are logged in
- At the top right of the screen, near your avatar, click on the dropdown containing your username
- Choose "My Profile" from the menu
- Near your fullname, click on "Settings"
- From the drop down, choose "Close Account"
- You will be prompted to confirm this action
Closing your account on the Rendezvous mobile app
- Ensure you are logged in
- At the top right of the screen, tap on your avatar
- Tap on the "Account" tab
- Scroll to the bottom and tap "Close Account"
- You will be prompted to confirm this action
When you close your account we will confirm that you would like to do this action. If you agree, we will delete your data instantly. This is a one-way process and your data will no longer be retrieveable by Rendezvous or you. If you wish to "backup" your data before closing your account, you may contact us on this support form and we will organise to send you your data to the preferred destination.
Special circumstances
For the most part, your data can be deleted by following the steps above however if your account was blocked (due to violating our terms and conditions), you may not be able to delete your data via this method. After an account is blocked, you won't be able to login to follow the above steps. If you want your data to be deleted under these circumstances, please contact us on our contact form
